One of the most common resolutions is to take better care of ourselves for the next 12 months. These resolutions can range from dropping a bad habit like smoking, losing weight, exercising more, eating better, getting more rest or doing what we can to look younger.
Instead of overhauling your entire life and routine, a better way to go about making changes that will stick is to make small changes, consistently over time, that will make a big difference in the long run.
Start out by committing to making changes just for the next 30 or 60 days.
That way, if you cannot handle it, make it work or just don't like it, you can always go back to the way things were before. Chances are, though, if you can do something for 30, 45 or 60 days, you are far more likely to continue the behavior well into the New Year.
If you are determined to look and feel better this year, one easy way to accomplish at least part of this goal is to incorporate changes that take very little time, and then expand on them week by week. For instance, how long does it take to make sure you take skin-healthy vitamins every day?
If you commit to taking just vitamin C every day, you will find your skin looking better and brighter, and you can ward off colds at the same time.
The total amount of time it takes to do this is about 5 seconds each morning. You have 5 seconds to each day to do this, right?
One thing we all want to achieve is a younger, rested look. Preventing additional skin wrinkles is easy with small changes. Always keep your skin clean and exfoliated so new fresh skin can emerge and replace the dead skin cells always lingering on the top. Vitamin C also helps fight free radical damage which can age you faster (but you've already taken care of that)!
Preventing skin wrinkles is easy with constant focus on cleaning, exfoliating and most importantly, keeping your skin hydrated and moisturized.
A good moisturizer will make a big difference in the feel and appearance
of your skin. Definitely incorporate a skin wrinkle treatment plan, even by starting out small. Just by making sure you wash your face thoroughly each morning and especially at night, when the skin replenishes itself while your body is at rest. Before going to bed, use a good moisturizer to escalate the effects of the natural replenishing process each night.
Wrinkles can be reduced naturally with daily care and maintenance of the skin. By eating more fruits and veggies, taking your vitamins, drinking water to flush toxins away and even incorporating facial exercises to reduce
wrinkles. Facial exercises are great because they are fast, easy and have been shown to produce results. Spending 15 minutes per day 3-5 days
per week will give you measurable results in a short time.
If you add up all the small things you can do to make big changes in the appearance of your skin, it is less than an hour per day. Aren't we all worth at least this much time?
I hope everyone is looking forward to a happy and healthy new year.
Resolutions can stick if they are easy and you have a written plan in
place. If your resolution is to take better care of yourself, a good place to start is with your skin.
Begin a good skin wrinkle treatment program, no matter how small, to get great results that keep improving all year long.
